Tam O'Shanter's signature hole, "Death Valley," features one of the best visual features of the golf course. After seeing how narrow #13 green is, this green looks just as narrow from the tee, with a huge gorge between the player and the green. In actuality, the green is quite large and deep, but it does not look that way from the tee. The hole plays somewhat uphill, with trees blocking the extreme right and left sides of the green. This hole is all carry, and the back-to-front slope will hold an iron shot nicely.
